Sitting- get still-

Settle-

Into your seat- into your breath- into your heart-

Slowly- slowing down- more and more-

The heartbeat slows down-

as well as the breathing

Then the looking inside-

Your mind and your heart

are becoming wordless but deep.

You know that you have

To go deep- down there

Listen- to your silence

            for your silence

and then listen out there

Oh- the sounds that are nearby.

Lawnmower buzzing- birds in all directions

Then the lawn mower stops-

More birds and quiet voices

From neighbors- all speaking

their truth whatever it is-

while you listen to and listen for

your silent truth.

The quieter you get- slower-

stiller- more honest with the

ISNESS

Stay and know that you are

love and your job is to be

loving to all- loving- kindness-

Remember- this is your job-

Not earning money- per se

Let go of the judgments

Delight in the forgiveness

And know that this is the truth that you seek-

This is most important to you.

The practice of loving-kindness-

Especially to those who, perhaps, 

don’t love you, you think,

or  you think that you don’t love them.

Keep pushing towards the

Pure love- make no mistake

This is what is at stake in your life.

Above all- kindly- purely- aware

and awake.
